fuckn' a my job is sucking right now! i wish i worked in a place where i could laugh a real laugh. & smile a real smile. this fake shit is wearing me out.
last night my boo & i wear talking, no kids for us, even if we win the lotto.
looking forward to this weekend, tubbin down the comal w/ the fam.
i've been working out for a month now. i don't see any results, yet. afraid to weigh myself for fear of quiting. i sweat a sea @ each session.
"Le Petit Marseillais" That's the brand/logo of the soap. The one I'm looking for is (French)extra doux olive lavande. which I guess translates to olive oil & lavender.
I had this face soap in my bathroom for a while now and I was about to through it out when I decided to give it a try. I have moderate adult (AGH!) acne and it freaking worked a miracle on my face! It cleared up in like two weeks believe it or not! My face was the clearest it had been in a LONG time and I was getting compliments & questions of what I was using left & right. Anyway, I have absolutely NO idea how I came across this miracle soap and I can't find it anywhere! I've searched online and found that apparently it's like our USA Dial brand in France. And that is the only place I can find it other than some shady looking websites.
has anyone seen this at a local store? I checked out other face soaps similar to this one and none have worked (such as.. Kiss my face, some other French olive oil & lavender I found at Whole Foods) I have tried pro-active, and every other mass marketed junk and none has worked like this le petit marseillais.
I hope someone out there can help.
sorry in advance, cross-posted cause I'm desperate.
WOW! I am freaking out, it's sheer excitement! I just found this and I want to do it now!
I found this via flickr and it then took me to lj and I immediately friended ss_biggie

Make is a craft collective in Uptown- my friend Judy who runs a small business selling badass things she created was one of the victims. Read this carefully if you live in Dallas, and pass on the word if you don't mind.
Hey everyone-
Make (themakesite.com) in Uptown Dallas was burgularized this past weekend. The guilty made off with about $5000 in jewelry, artwork, handbags, clothing, and accessories made by local designers. Some of the designers include: SuperChica Jewelry AlaMode Harrilu Haute Hardware Madeline Wood Designs EnJu Design Group Pink Panache and others...
Please keep an eye out for someone trying to sell these products as their own on Etsy, Ebay, or Craigslist. Also be wary of anyone looking especially cool and covered with amazing, hand crafted accessories.
In addition about $3000 in supplies, sewing machines, and equipment were stolen hindering the classes taught at Make.
This is seriously awful for the designers- many of whom make their living off of selling their handcrafted wares.
Call 311 if you see anything suspicous- or contact Make. http://www.themakesite.com Stay tuned for info on an upcoming benefit in March to help these designers make up for their lost merch. (Please contact Make at info@themakesite.com if you have any items to donate to this fundraiser)
Whew, planning a wedding is tough stuff! I'm spending more and more time searching for gowns, rings, ideas and what not; before long every spare moment I have will be spent on this wedding, not to mention every spare penny.
If you have any tips or ideas I would love to hear them!
We rang in the new year at Tia Luchas house surrounded by family. We ate, drank and were merry. At the stroke of midnight we ate our 12 grapes (I'm not sure why but we always do, something about them being round) and we shared our hopes for the new year. We all hoped for health unity and love. When it came around to my boo he invited everyone to the wedding in July, Jessie and Tito hope to celebrate next year with Tio Juan in tow. Brenda hoped for a healthy baby, Sandy hoped for a wee one and Chris thanked us for inviting him into the family. I reminded us to keep remembering our grandparents so that may keep living along with us. By the end of the toasting we were all in tears, the most memorable new years I've had thus far.
I received two beautiful thank yous from two bonified glz's. Rosa thanked me for being there for her when Martin became ill y Maria thanked my for making her feel the most welcome. They said that they were very comfortable around me. I definitely felt the love last night, not to mention a buzz. ;)
This morning I was awakened by a phone call from my boo, he was at the Farmers Branch PD detention center. D@ngit! There goes the warm fuzzy feeling! He was speeding, pulled over and arrested for unpaid traffic tickets. I left my keys in Jorje's car and he also had my ID and money. Thanks to my best friend Marisa who drove me there and around and back he was out by 1:30pm. Well at least the new year wee am. hours started out good. I hope that isn't the view of whats to come in 07.
I hope you accomplish all your resolutions this year, I wish you love, health and most of all happiness.
that's what i get for eating chips y salsa while craftin. fredo and i got ink all over the stamp so i washed it off and was patting it dry on my pants. y me enchilo and i pat faster, then i look down and i have red ink all over mis pantalones. chingao!
it was just a christmas card making accident.
the outcome... i didn't like what the card said about stinkin christmas so i stamped a cardinal (MaMaria's favorite bird and mine, not because that was my hs mascot) and drizzled fine glitter for a much better result.
just a glimpse of my orange and purple sent to my partner, state side (thank goodness). whom i accidentally forgot to let know who I was. oops! it should arrive by friday!

i was just looking over my lj and noticed I have had it 2 years on 8/31/06! well old friend, have neglected you sometimes and filled you in on some juicy gossip (well juicy for me) you have stuck with me or I've stuck with you, geez i sound like we weirdo talking to my lj like that.
the saddest part i have recorded on the lj is when mi padrino left for mexico. on sunday we were having alex's bday party and i thought of you again and cried as always. i really miss you and i think of you often, i love you piti. you are a wonderful, loving man. aver si le mando un peso para que disfrute la fiesta.
the biggest news is the fact that jorje and i re-newed our relationship! everything is going great! i think the thing that helped us was the fact that we agreed not to bring up old stuff. let the past stay where it belongs.
we had two BIG additions to out little family. firstly, (is that even a word?) we also got our first family pet, mr. Cowboy! secondly, we bought a house! i named our casa Victoria and her birthday is october 7th, right around the corner!
looking to the future, jorje and i are gonna get married 7-7-7! we are planning a wedding in TierraNueva Mexico. we are going to be getting married in the church mi abuelito raised money to buy the doors for. i think in my late teens and working at miki's cleaners, the olive garden after school and i gave grampa $200. he wrote me a thank you letter that i now cherish and i keep very close to my heart, he was proud of me. after the mass we will be going down the hill to my grandparents house to celebrate.
i'm very happy i started this journal, it has mostly been a true journal. thank you.
pime threw it away! geez that makes me so mad! that's the second thing she has trashed that cost me mucho dinero! she also trashed cowboys heartworm preventative/flea deterrent thing!
ugh!
if it doesn't fit into her little world it's trash.
